Taking a break from the “Glee” set, Charice Pempengco is working on a hot new project for 2012. Charice was spotted in Boston over the weekend on the set of a new film with some big names.
“Here Comes the Boom” stars Kevin James, Selma Hayek, Henry Winkler and Joe Rogan. The film is currently filming in Boston, confirmed by Winkler on Sunday. He tweeted about kicking off the project: “Yes we are here in Boston making a movie HERE COMES THE BOOM starring KEVIN JAMES and SELMA HAYEK”The upcoming film centers on a teacher who moonlights as a mixed martial arts fighter in order to save his school’s music program. While little is still known about the role Charice will play, we do know that her character’s name is Malia. The film will be released in July 2012.
